While the rod is the right length, the threaded part is too large for the M43.

Good quality, perfect fit. I don’t have a bayonet and probably never will at the price they go for so I can’t speak to the issue mentioned in a couple of the reviews. The customer service at Landser is outstanding! There was a mixup with my shipment and they went above and beyond to resolve it. Will definitely look to them first in the future for Mauser needs!

Ordered the cleaning rod for my 1943 Spanish Mauser, the cleaning rod fits perfect and my rifle look awesome now.

3 M48 rod

As another reviewer mentioned the slotted end of the rod will not fit inside the bayonet handle as intended. This rod must be removed in order to attatch the bayonet.

5 A perfect fit for a VZ24

I purchased the 14.5 inch cleaning rod for my VZ24 which was missing the part. This piece completes the look of the rifle and makes it easier to keep the gun clean and functioning. Since it's new, it has a solid black finish, which makes the worn steel of the rest of the rifle look pretty sad!

4 14.5 in Mauser cleaning rod

Fits in my M48. Slotted section is to big of a diameter to fit into the German bayonet handle. Only problem with this rod.
