Iron Cross  - First Class

The Iron Cross First Class was a prestigious German military decoration awarded for acts of bravery during World War II. It was higher in rank than the Iron Cross Second Class.

The Iron Cross First Class was a pin-backed medal worn on the uniform, featuring a black iron cross with a silver or white metal frame. It was typically worn on the left side of the recipient's uniform. To receive the Iron Cross First Class, soldiers had to display exceptional courage or perform extraordinary acts of valor in the face of the enemy.
