The Heer Flak Badge (or "Heer Flakkampfabzeichen") was a German military decoration awarded during World War II to soldiers in the German Army (Heer) who had served in anti-aircraft (Flak) units. The badge was introduced on June 1, 1940, by Generaloberst Hans Jeschonnek, the Chief of the Luftwaffe General Staff, to recognize the skill, effort, and service of those involved in operating anti-aircraft guns and equipment.
