WWII German Gas Mask Canister Replacement Strap
Designed to securely carry a soldier’s gas mask canister during combat. Made from heavy-duty cotton webbing the strap was built to withstand harsh battlefield conditions, including mud, rain, and constant movement.
The strap was adjustable, allowing it to be worn over the shoulder or across the chest to keep the metal canister close to the body while marching, fighting, or taking cover. Made with steel metal buckles for length adjustment and secure fastening.
