Star Order of the German Eagle with Swords was one of the highest political awards possible to achieve in the NSDAP. These awards were principally awarded to foreign diplomats, after Hitler himself had introduced the award.
The medal itself was awarded in May, 1939, The medal also features a vertical pin on the reverse.
The medallion was an honorary award given to non-Germans who were considered worthy.
